World Cup 2019: Vijay Shankar in injury scare ahead of India-New Zealand warm-up game

London: Chetan Narula reports for MyNation from The Oval (London) as India prepare to take on New Zealand in the first warm-up ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019. All-rounder Vijay Shankar was hit on his right forearm batting in the nets on Friday (May 24). He walked off in pain and will undergo scans in London this evening. 
Meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav continued his process to full recovery and fitness after suffering a left shoulder injury during the IPL. It is unsure if either player will feature in Saturday’s (May 25) warm-up game against the Black Caps.
