Ahmadabad: After dancing, singing and performing stunts, here, a man set his jeep on fire, and eventually shared it on Tik Tok. Interestingly, the man who set the jeep on fire was clad in gold jewellery. Here is why he set his jeep on fire.

The man identified as  Indrajitsinh Jadeja (33) and his friend Nimesh Gohel (28) were arrested by the Rajkot police on charges of negligent conduct with respect to fire.

Jadeja went to Rajkot on September 2, poured petrol on his jeep and set it on fire by throwing a matchstick on the vehicle. His friend Gohel, who had accompanied him recorded the incident and published it on social media.

"Both the accused were arrested by the Bhaktinagar Police on September 3," inspector V K Gadhvi said.

The reason:

Speaking about the reason, police said, "Jadeja, an auto-parts dealer, set his jeep on fire out of frustration as the engine of the vehicle did not turn on despite several attempts."

"When the jeep did not start despite several attempts, Jadeja told his friend Gohel that he will set it on fire. Out of disbelief, Gohel asked Jadeja if he was serious about it," Gadhvi said.

Here is how it reached Tik Tok:

Both of them had not planned to make a TikTok video, the inspector said.

"After shooting the video, Gohel shared it among his friends, who then circulated it on social media. Then someone added a Punjabi song in the background and edited this video using TikTok and made it viral as a TikTok video. Both the accused are out on bail as local court had refused to grant police remand," Gadhvi said.
