With Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar and former finance minister P Chidambaram lodged in Tihar jail and Robert Vadra's custody sought by the Enforcement DIrectorate, the spate of events will not be forgotten in the minds of people for years to come
The Enforcement Directorate has stated that Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra's custodial interrogation is needed in the money laundering case linked to him that was unearthed. The ED said that Vadra's anticipatory bail plea should be rejected.
The other two Congress leaders, Chidambaram and DK Shivakumar, who were taken in for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate are still lodged in Tihar Jail.
Will Vadra also join them is the question on everyone’s mind?
While money laundering, disproportionate assets cases will most likely land all three famous personalities in the same jail, the prison could probably do with a change in its name to mark such a moment. However, one is still left wondering on what a combination.
