Sonepat: Seema Punia made the nation proud as she clinched a bronze medal in the women’s discus throw event on Thursday at the Asian Games 2018. Seema had previously clinched gold at the 2014 Asian Games, held at Incheon.
Seema’s family is elated at their daughter’s success. Seema’s father Vijay Pal said that his daughter has made India proud by winning a medal and she will continue to carry out her responsibilities as sub-inspector of the Haryana Police. He also lamented that Seema hasn’t gotten any help from Haryana’s sports council.
