India captain Virat Kohli has made it a habit of breaking batting records. And he has added one more during the third Test against England in Nottingham on Monday.

Kohli's century on the third day at Trent Bridge not only put India in control of the match, it also saw him go past Mohammad Azharuddin’s tally of 426 runs to become the Indian skipper with most runs in a Test series in England. He now has 440 runs from six innings with still two Tests to go.

The Indian skipper, who had a miserable series in 2014, showed his class with an astounding 149 in the first Test. While his Edgbaston knock was purely a one-man show for the team, at Trent Bridge, it was different as others contributed.
