Virat Kohli surpassed Sourav Ganguly to become the second most successful Indian captain in Test cricket in terms of matches won. The win against England in the third Test in Nottingham, was Kohli's 22nd as skipper. He is the best leader for India in Test history in terms of win percentage (among those who have led in five or more Tests). Mahendra Singh Dhoni remains the captain with the most number of Test victories, having led the country to 27 victories in 60 matches.
