Blind football: Beautiful game’s special warriors fight for funds, recognition

While blind cricket has gained some amount of recognition in recent times, blind football is a different ball game altogether.

Blind football has two five-member teams in which the goalkeeper is not visually impaired but plays under certain limitations. The participants use a ball with bells inside that helps them know its directions. A defender must say 'voy' so as to not bump into the opponent.
