Jakarta: India was assured of a medal in Asian Games 2018 squash as the nation's women's team entered the semi-finals on Wednesday.

Joshna Chinappa, Dipika Pallikal (pictured) and Sunayna Kuruvilla registered victories as India blanked China 3-0 to maintain their unbeaten run.

Last week, Joshna and Dipika had bagged bronze medal each in the singles category.

This was India's fourth straight win in the league stage. Earlier, they had beaten Iran, Thailand and Indonesia. In their last Pool B match, they face Hong Kong on Thursday.

Results

India beat China 3-0 (Joshna Chinappa bt Dongji Li 5-11,11-8, 11-9, 11-6; Dipika Pallikal Karthik bt Siyu Duan 11-1, 11-4, 11-5; Sunayna Kuruvilla bt Xinru He 11-3, 11-6, 11-3).
