Keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 'Swachhata Hi Seva Movement', the BSF personnel have joined hands with local societies to organise various cleanliness drives

Silchar: The Border Security Force (BSF) located at Masimpur, Silchar, with the guidance of Narinder Singh Jamwal, Inspector General, BSF is organizing a 15-day cleanliness drive in and around all BSF campuses of frontier headquarters, sector headquarters up to the farthest deployed BSF Border outposts in Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland besides Barak Valley.

Keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 'Swachhata Hi Seva Movement', the BSF personnel have joined hands with local societies to organise various cleanliness drives.

On September 19, the BSF organised a mass cleanliness drive in the Masimpur-Kalibari and its surrounding areas of Cachar, taking locals on board.

The Swachhata Hi Seva 'movement' aims at generating greater public participation towards swachhata (cleanliness) and is being organised in the run-up to the fourth anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, on October 2, 2018.
