BJP Delhi leader Tajinder Bagga posted a video of the hoarding on Twitter that calls Rajiv Gandhi  the father of mob lynching

New Delhi: BJP Delhi leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga has put up posters in Lutyens’ Delhi on Monday calling Rajiv Gandhi ‘the father of mob lynching’.

Bagga posted a video of the hoarding on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

This comes in response to Rahul Gandhi's comments absolving the Congress of being a part of the anti-Sikh riots. Last week, the Congress president in Germany said that the ‘Congress was not involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots’, in which almost 3000 Sikhs were killed. This happened when the Congress party was in power in the Centre.

Gandhi said, "I have no confusion in my mind about that. It was a tragedy; it was a painful experience. You say that the Congress party was involved in that, I don`t agree with that. Certainly there was violence, certainly, there was tragedy".

The anti-Sikh riots broke out after the assassination of the then prime minister Indira Gandhi.
