Govinda was held at the Saket station after the X-ray of his luggage revealed the banned items. Along with the pistol, a live bullet was also recovered from his bag

New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has caught a man for carrying a country-made pistol and a bullet in his bag while commuting by the Delhi Metro on Thursday. 

According to reports, the 25-year-old man, identified a Govinda, is a resident of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh. 

Govinda was held at the Saket station after the X-ray of his luggage revealed the banned items. Along with the pistol, a live bullet was also recovered from his bag. 

The CISF personnel handed the accused over to police for further investigation.

Carrying arms and ammunition in the Delhi Metro is banned by the law.
