Barwani: Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Manoj Thackeray was found dead in a field in Warla police station limits on Sunday. He was last seen going on a morning walk today.
Barwani ASP told news agency ANI, “He had gone for his routine morning walk. A blood-stained rock has been found from the crime site. Speculation is that he was killed with that rock. Investigation is being done.”
Thackeray’s murder comes less than a week after Mandsaur Municipal Corporation president Prahlad Bandhwar was shot dead.
Thackeray’s perpetrators used stones to kill him and are yet to be identified.
According to reports, an investigation is underway and BJP supporters have gathered at the spot where the local leader was allegedly murdered.
