Union Minister Alphons said, "People should stop using phones for trolling and should really start helping the flood victims instead."

Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Culture, and Tourism, KJ Alphons has given a befitting reply to people trolling him for tweeting his photo of sleeping in one of the relief camps.

Minister Alphons has taken trolls to task and questioned them if they had even held a broom (the least that they can do) to help the flood victims in Kerala.

Here is the Tweet by minister Alphons:

I slept at a relief camp last night in Changanacherry. Most people didn’t sleep thinking of a uncertain tomo pic.twitter.com/xQgnYjfZx5

Alphons clarified that he doesn't handle his social media pages including twitter. "I have no idea about this picture being posted. I do not handle my social media pages. Those handling it might have felt that it is an important gesture and have posted it," he said.

Alphons further said, "People should stop using phones for trolling and should really start helping the flood victims instead."

Kerala is facing the worst flood of century. More than 300 have lost their lives and houses, property even roads, bridges infrastructure have been destroyed completely.

He had also tweeted saying, "We have over a million people in our relief camps in Kerala . They shudder at the thought of getting back to their homes. They have lost everything. As the water level goes down, thousands of homes will collapse. India help."
