Swedish furniture giant Ikea opened its first outlet at Hyderabad in India. The citizens were so elated that Hyderabad was chosen that virtually everyone in the city decided to head to HITEC City. This caused a massive traffic jam.
Ikea boasts of a 1000-seater restaurant. This could be a reason for the massive rush. A picture of the jam has gone viral. Check the sarcastic tweets:
Even Cyberabad Traffic Police had to issue an advisory to warn the citizens of the chaotic situation there.
The Ikea outlet was inaugurated by Sweden’s Ambassador to India, Klas Molin in the presence of Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao.
