Passengers of a GoAir flight had to send out SOS messages through social media after the Delhi-bound plane got stranded at the Goa International Airport following a technical glitch.
The airline, in a statement, said that the Flight G8-285, with 42 passengers on board, suffered a minor technical snag.
However, the authorities failed to explain why the passengers, including kids and senior citizens, were made to sit inside the aircraft for hours.
Several passengers took to social media to vent out their frustration. They said that they were made to sit inside the aircraft as it stood still on the runway.
According to some people, the waiting time was over 5 hours.
GoAir recently made headlines after two of its employees were arrested for posing as passengers and stealing a consignment of mobile phones at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, Delhi.
