Faridabad: Three women and a man, all members of one family, were found dead inside their house in the Surajkund area of Faridabad on Saturday. The dead were identified as brothers and sisters.
The police have recovered a suicide note from the spot that indicates the four siblings were suffering from depression following the death of their parents and a brother some time ago. The note carries details of their financial distress too.
The family members allegedly committed suicide in separate rooms where the bodies were found.
The police recovered the bodies with the help of a crew of the Haryana forensic department after the guard of the apartment complained of a stench emanating from the house. It is estimated that the deaths occurred three or four days ago.
The bodies have been sent to a government hospital for autopsy. Further details pertaining to the case are awaited. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
