TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar's supporters assaulted a traffic constable, who stopped them for jumping signal. TDP supporters were in a car and got into an argument after they were stopped by a constable near the signal. The constable asked them to speak in the police station for arguing with him and questioning him for stopping the car. Angry supporters are said to have assaulted the constable. The traffic police has filed a complaint in this regard at Governorpet police station, Vijayawada. Currently, the police have taken the Chintamaneni supporters into custody.
