Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, former India cricketer Virender Sehwag and the Reliance Foundation have forward to offer help to the Pulwama martyrs’ children.
On February 14, over 40 CRPF men were martyred when a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist rammed an explosives-laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF personnel in Pulwama district.

According to sources, Bachchan is in touch with the Indian government officials so that the families of martyrs could be helped as soon as possible. Earlier too, Bachchan had donated a sum of Rs 2.25 crore to 44 families of the martyrs.
Sehwag has decided to take full responsibility for the education of the martyrs’ children. He tweeted on Saturday, "Whatever we can do, it will not be enough. This is a small thing but I offer to take full care of the education of all the children of brave soldiers. The care of all children will be kept in my Sehwag International School located in Jhajjar. Good luck.”

In a statement, the Reliance Foundation said, "Expressing gratitude towards the martyrs, the Reliance Foundation is ready to take full responsibility of the education and employment of their children and the responsibilities of their families."
The foundation said that its hospital was ready for the treatment of the injured jawans.
