Here is the video of how people warmed up and congratulated Ashrrita's mother on her last day of duty as the daughter was in the flight deck.

Air India pilot Ashrrita Chinchankar took her mother on her last ride as an airhostess. Ashrrita's mother had completed 38 years as an airhostess with the national carrier. It was a proud moment for the mother as her daughter was the pilot flying her on her last day in office.

So happy and honoured to be able to pilot the one flight that mattered. It was my mom’s dream to have me pilot her last flight as an Air Hostess with :) As she retires after her glorious 38 years of service, I will be carrying on with her legacy 😇 pic.twitter.com/zcUTNCENzj

Earlier, a day before the last flight of her mother, Ashrrita had put up an emotional tweet, "Guys, tomorrow I will be flying with my mother on her retirement day, when she gracefully operates her last flight as an Air Hostess with @airindiain after 38 years of service 😊 privileged to be her first officer tomorrow! #proud #grateful #happy".

This tweet received several replies and wishes for the mother. To thanks them, Ashrrita went on to post a photo and a video of how her mother got the perfect farewell (the above video) not only from the Air India staff but also from the people travelling.

In fact, former Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel too replied to Ashrrita's tweet and said, “Some of the most heart-warming and pleasant stories are the ones that happen in real life. Make your mother proud."
