Abducted police constable’s body found in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir police constable Javid Ahmad Dar's body was found by locals at Pariwan in Kulgam district.

Jammu and Kashmir police constable Javid Ahmad Dar who abducted by terrorists from Shopian district on Thursday was later killed by his abductors. Dar was abducted from Kachdoora village of Shopian and a manhunt had been launched to rescue him.

His body was found by locals at Pariwan in Kulgam district.

Reportedly on his way to fetch medicines from a local shop near his village Vehil, he was abducted by 3-4 men who came in a Santro car. Later, terrorists had also released his photo on social media wherein he was clearly shown to be under duress of torture and interrogation.

Dar was attached with IPS Shailendra Mishra, former SSP of Shopian.

This is the second such incident in which security personnel had been abducted and killed. It comes close on heels of the abduction and murder of Rifleman Aurangzeb of the 44 Rashtriya Rifles. He had been on his way home for Eid.

Terrorists had lifted Aurangzeb from a private bus near Kalampora. His body had been recovered found in Pulwama district. He had been part of the army team that had scalped top Hizbul Mujahideen commander Sameer Tiger on April 30.
