Dhaka: Rock musician Ayub Bachchu of the Love Runs Blind (LRB) band passed away in Dhaka today.
A pioneer in Bangladeshi alternate music scene he is best known for creating the soft-rock masterpiece Cholo Bodley Jai, Ek Akasher Tara Tui etc.
Bachchu died of a heart attack at the age of 56 and was taken to Square Hospital around 9:15 am. He was found in an unconscious state at his Moghbazar residence.
Bachchu underwent heart valve surgery in 2009 and was a regular patient at this hospital. His continued to suffer from heart tissue damage and health complications
