PM Narendra Modi seems to have inspired quite a lot of fashion trends, take a dekko
New Delhi: Half-sleeved kurtas, sleeveless cotton jackets and now saris - Prime Minister Narendra Modi's impact on the world of fashion continues to grow. It all began when a Twitter user shared videos and images of saris printed with the prime minister's face being sold in Surat, Gujrat.
The tweet went viral and soon shopkeepers in Surat Textile Market were being hounded about the novel six yards of style. According to a Times of India report, a shopkeeper told the daily, "It is a different kind of saree which has been launched recently. It is very popular among women. Right now, we have at least four types of sarees with PM Modi's pictures on them."

This is not the first time Modi's likeness has been recreated on an outfit by his fans. Earlier controversial reality star Rakhi Sawant had also worn a dress with the PM's face emblazoned all over it. The outfit caused a huge uproar.
