The Twitter handle I Will Go Out, curated by freelance journalist Tamana Slathia is empowering #MeToo survivors in a very constructive way. While the social media account claims to encourage women and girls to reclaim public spaces in India, they have also joined the recent #MeToo movement with full force.
Coming out with a sexual harassment story is not easy, the aftermath of sharing the story is when the going really gets tough. So, Slathia has crowdsourced a list that has info of pro bono professionals willing to help sexual harassment survivors.
More than 170 lawyers, healers, mental health professionals, social workers, journalists and others from India as well as abroad have volunteered their services to the victims of sexual harassment in this list.
