Two women spoke to a media house detailing their #MeToo stories about the singer

Mumbai: After singer Shweta Pandit called out singer Anu Malik in her #MeToo account, calling him a 'paedophile', two more women have come forward to accuse the singer of sexual misconduct.

A woman, also a musician, detailed the incident that allegedly took place in the 90s during a song recording meeting with Malik. She accused Malik of rubbing himself against her. On a different occasion, she also accused Malik of lifting her skirt and pushing himself onto her.

She also revealed two other instances when he misbehaved with her and also said that the singer had threatened her to not speak about the incident to anyone.

Meanwhile, another survivor while detailing her harassment said that because of Anu Malik predatory nature, she didn't participate in the tenth season of Indian Idol.

Apart from these allegations, the original #MeToo girl, singer Alisha Chinai, had filed a sexual harassment suit against music composer back in the 90s too. While many celebrities who have been accused of sexual abuse recently have been asked to step down from their ongoing projects, it is yet to be seen whether Malik will have to step down from the judge position in Indian Idol.
