Kitchen Hacks: How to use lemon peels for cleaning and more

Lemons are often used for making shikanji and other refreshing drinks during summer months. There is nothing more satisfying than a glass full of chilled Nimbu Pani. After making these summer drinks, we often throw the lemon peels away. However, these lemon peels can work extremely well as cleaning agents. Cleaning liquid

You can make an all-purpose cleaning agent using lemon peels. Put lemon peels in a jar, add a cup of white vinegar and water to it. Let the mixture sit for some time, and then transfer it into a spray bottle, removing the peels. You can use this to clean furniture, kitchen countertops and tables. 

Whiter teeth

Lemon peels can also be used to whiten teeth naturally. Mix a small amount of baking soda and salt with lemon peel. Rub your teeth with those peels. This natural remedy is effective for promoting oral hygiene. 

Cleaning the microwave

If cleaning the microwave feels like too much work, follow this trick. Fill a microwave-safe bowl with water an add lemon peels to it. Heat the bowl in the microwave for about 3-4 minutes. The steam from hot lemon water will help clean the stubborn stains from inside the microwave. 

Gas burners

You can also use lemon peels to clean gas burners. Mix one spoon of baking soda with some water and make a paste. Apply a layer of this mixture on lemon peels, and then use them to clean the gas burners. This simple and effective solution will leave your gas burners shining like new. 

Cleaning the kitchen sink

Mix dishwashing liquid with 1 teaspoon of baking soda and lemon. Use this mixture to scrub the sink thoroughly. This will help remove dirt and stains effectively.
