How to make the perfect iced tea

Iced tea is a perfect summer drink. It tastes delicious and is refreshing to beat the heat. Achieving the perfect taste is not that difficult and you can easily learn how to make it at home. Let’s explore the secrets to creating the perfect iced tea, from selecting the right tea leaves to perfecting the brewing process.

Ingredients you need:

•    High-quality tea leaves (loose tea or tea bags)
•    Water
•    Sweetener (honey or sugar)
•    Optional- herbs like mint, basil, berries, and orange slices

Follow these steps:

Step 1- Fill your tea pot with water and bring it to a boil. 

Step 2- Add the desired amount of tea leaves into a tea infuser or directly into the pot. Use one teaspoon of loose tea leaves. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and let them steep for the appropriate amount of time according to the type of tea you're using. 

Step 3- Add sugar or honey according to taste. You can also skip this step if you prefer drinking unsweetened tea. 

Step 4- Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator to chill. 

Step 5- Once the tea is thoroughly chilled, pour it over ice cubes in glasses and garnish with fresh ingredients if desired.
