Dogs of Hyderabad get a posh Kennel club certified park worth ₹1.1Cr

Synopsis

The park features state of art dog training and playing equipment, off-leash areas for exercise, two lawns, amphitheatre, and a sprinkler fountain as well as a clinic

A dump yard spread over 1.3 acres has been turned into a fancy retreat for pets in Hyderabad. The news was revealed on Twitter by Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister, KT Rama Rao.
And, this is not the last either. There have been talks of constructing a similar retreat in south Mumbai’s Cuffe Parade and it will be maintained and taken care of by the BMC.

The Hyderabad retreat has the usual dog training equipment, toys, off-leash areas for exercise, two lawns as well as an amphitheatre, sprinkler fountain, a splash pool, clinic and kennels for dogs of all sizes. The park has been certified by the Kennel Club of India and is worth 1.1 crore to build.

GHMC Zonal Commissioner D. Harichandana told Times of India, “The park was constructed to provide training for dogs to stay fit. The park will also address all the issues related to dogs.”
