Tamali Saha's journey toward the civil services began during her college years, where she found her inspiration to pursue the UPSC path. Balancing her graduation studies with UPSC preparation, she dedicated herself to mastering current affairs, general studies, and environmental science. With unwavering determination, Tamali set her sights on clearing the exam in her very first attempt.
In 2020, Tamali Saha appeared for the UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFoS) exam and cleared it in her very first attempt, an extraordinary achievement. She secured an All India Rank of 94 and earned the prestigious position of an IFS officer. Her journey stands as a powerful testament to the fact that with dedication and hard work, nothing is impossible. Following her selection, Tamali was allotted the West Bengal cadre, where she is now proudly serving the nation as an Indian Forest Service officer.
