Explaining the concept behind "Pure Veg Mode," Goyal elucidated that this feature entails a selection of restaurants exclusively serving pure vegetarian cuisine, excluding any establishments offering non-vegetarian dishes. He clarified that the implementation of Pure Veg Mode and the Pure Veg Fleet is not intended to discriminate based on religious or political beliefs but rather to accommodate customers with a 100% vegetarian dietary preference.
The "Pure Veg Fleet" will distinguish itself through green delivery boxes, a departure from the standard red boxes used by Zomato delivery personnel. Members of the Pure Veg Fleet will solely deliver orders from pure vegetarian restaurants, ensuring that no non-vegetarian meals are transported using the green delivery boxes.
