While India exports medicine, Pakistan continues to export terror amid coronavirus pandemic

Army Chief General MM Naravane has hit out at Pakistan saying it continues to foment trouble at a time when the world is fighting the pandemic.

Bengaluru: The world has been fighting the Covid threat unitedly. 

India too has not been left far behind. We have exported tonnes of medical aid to many a country. 

But our neighbours Pakistan are different. While the fight against coronavirus goes on, they continue to export terror to India. 

It has resorted to ceasefire violations and has attempted to infiltration as well. 

Army Chief General MM Naravane has said Pakistan is only increasing the trouble. 

He said, "While we are busy not only helping our own citizens but the rest of the world by sending medical teams and exporting medicines, on the other hand, Pakistan is only exporting terror. This doesn’t auger well."

He further added, "It is very unfortunate that at a time when the whole world and India is fighting the pandemic, our neighbour continues to foment trouble for us."

Earlier this month, India had killed as many as 5 infiltrators supported by Pakistan. 

Republic TV added that Last week, Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire in the Kupwara sector of Jammu and Kashmir. It was reported that heavy artillery firing took place and the Indian side retaliated strongly. That was the fifth consecutive day of unprovoked shelling and firing along the LoC.
