On June 28, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the new dates for the UGC NET June 2024 exams. According to the notification issued, the UGC NET June 2024 exam will take place from August 21, 2024, to September 4, 2024. CSIR-UGC NET exam will be conducted from July 25 to July 27, 2024, and the NCET exam is scheduled for July 10, 2024.
UGC NET Re-Exam
The exam was previously conducted on June 18, 2024. However, NTA made an announcement on June 19, about the cancellation of UGC NET. The same exam will be reconducted in the months of August and September.
Computer-based
This upcoming exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. Previously, it was held in offline (pen and paper) mode for the June 2024 cycle. Now, it will be administered as a Computer Based Test (CBT).

UGC NET cancelled
On June 19, the Ministry of Education cancelled the UGC NET exams held in two shifts across various cities on June 18. The Ministry released the notice stating that the exam was cancelled to “ensure the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process.”
