Trinamool ‘assaults’ man who provided vehicle for BJP victory rally

New Delhi: Trinamool’s violence in Bengal is still continuing, even after the Lok Sabha elections are long over. In a shocking incident from Purulia, a man was allegedly beaten by Trinamool supporters for merely providing a vehicle to BJP victory rally in Parbaid village, which falls under Kenda police station of Purulia.

The victim has been identified as Balram Mahato.

Following the incident, tension again erupted among locals in the area.

According to reports, Mahato provided his vehicle for carrying sound systems in the victory march.

As per the report, there was a victory rally of BJP in the village on Sunday. Balram Mahato has provided a vehicle for carrying sound system to a victory rally in the village. 

The local TMC workers attacked Mahato with bamboo sticks and iron roads. His wife and son were also not left out. 

The victims are now admitted at Purulia government medical college and hospital.  

Local TMC supporter Mator Gorai is being blamed for the attack. Balram, himself was a Trinamool supporter before, but recently changed jumped ship to the BJP.

Purulia has witnessed several incidents during and after the Lok Sabha elections.  The body of an active BJP worker was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in the district.
