There is nothing in CAB that liberals, fiberals and pseudo-seculars need to be vengeful of!

While pseudo-liberals scream at the top of their voices saying ‘step-motherly’ treatment, CAB is like a one-time offer to accommodate non-Muslims into the Indian nation.

Bengaluru: Neither discriminatory nor draconian, but a ray of hope for the distraught and despairing.

The Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) now a law comes as a godsend for those religiously persecuted non-Muslims in the countries of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh who have been subjugated and harassed over a period of time.

The law comes as a one-time offering for the religiously persecuted minorities who have been in India before December 31, 2014. Note that the law doesn’t relax itself to accommodate a Hindu who came a day later, that is on January 1, 2015.

So those pseudo-liberals who are vexed that Hindus are being given preferential treatment must note that there will be no rush of Hindus or other non-Muslims under this Act in the future.

Those having vengeful feelings towards Hindus must also remember that subsects in Islam like Ahmadiyyas and Shias do not even consider India as a place of refuge and prefer Iraq or Iran.

You might have heard of refugee camps in India but have you ever heard of these people coming to India for refuge?

So it is not just Muslims, even Hindus, Sikhs and others will have to go through the same process of applying for citizenship if they happened to come after December 31, 2014.

And how many Hindus or non-Muslims will be benefitted by this move? Well, not more than 30 to 32000.

In spite of these features of the law to accommodate badly bruised Hindus, there are others who say that the Constitution doesn’t discriminate on the basis of religion. But they conveniently forget that

Muslims get preferential treatment and have a ministry like minority affairs to cater to their needs. Strictly speaking, they too are positively being discriminated, which ought not be.

And in order to lodge their protests, they have burnt buses, trains, railway tracks and whatnot!
