After quitting her software job, Asha started an online coaching centre, guiding students in competitive exams. She earns really well

Bengaluru: Meet Asha Bineesh. She hails from Kerala.

She was a software engineer by profession, but quit it after deciding to go the family way.

But though she quit it, she had an intense desire to remain connected with her profession and give back something to it.

That is when she uploaded a few videos of her lectures and uploaded them on YouTube. Her lectures were on competitive exams.

The start was not something encouraging. A couple of her videos did not fetch her any good views. But she persevered and kept on uploading stuff. And slowly but surely, the videos began to earn a lot of traction.

Her friends and well-wishers suggested to her to start coaching classes. So propelled by their good wishes and encouragement, she uploaded a number of videos on quality stuff on competitive exams.

Thousands of her students have benefitted by her expertise and innovation in teaching.

It is also heartening to note that her husband too has extended a helping hand.

Now, she has as many as 5000 students on her channel.

But Asha has not limited herself to coaching. She also gave her bank exams and passed them with flying colours.

Though she tasted success, she did not accept any offers as she was asked to work outside her state of Kerala.

Asha prepares students for UPSC, KPSC, SSC and bank jobs. The price of their packages and modules varies depending on the number of lectures. The courses start at Rupees one thousand. Also some notes and lectures are available for free. Asha and her team also have a blog, which contains information about the date, syllabus and selection process of the competitive exam.

Today, her YouTube subscribers have reached 2.5 lakh.

Her turnover has reached the 1 crore mark annually.

At the same time, she has also employed a few youngsters, thereby giving them work.
