New Delhi: Two terrorists have been killed by the security forces in an encounter in Kokernag area of Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday. The security personnel are yet to recover the body of the terrorists as the gunfight is still on
According to sources, the encounter is taking place in the forest area of Khundru Khazean. Forces received information that three to four terrorists are in the forest area after which, a flush out operation was launched. During the encounter, terrorists were trapped inside the area by army’s 19 RR, CRPF and SOG, who cordoned off the forest area. The encounter site is situated between the two villages of Kharpora and Kashwan in Kokernag.

The encounter is currently going on. Additional forces have rushed to the area to ensure that the terrorists can't escape from the area.
