The Government of Sindh, Pakistan, has issued a circular asking officers to be on high alert and ensure essential supplies are not hit. The circular has also cancelled leaves of officials and officers in the wake of the attacks by India.
New Delhi: Strikes by the Indian Air Force has had disastrous consequences on Pakistan. While the number of casualties is estimated to be in a few hundreds, the entire Pakistan has been put on high alert. MyNation has accessed a circular issued by the government of Sindh, instructing its officers, from municipal commissioners and mayors of Karachi and Hyderabad to the town officers in Sindh to liaise with the district administration in case of any emergency.
The Pakistan government has ordered black outs in a large parts of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, large parts of Islamabad, Lahore Cantonment, Sialkot Cantonment, Karachi Cantonment, Okara Cantonment and Pasni coastline.

The circular further states that the officers should be on standby to ensure that there is adequate supply of water, fire tenders, de-watering machines and related equipment.
The circular also states that leave of all officials have been cancelled and that punitive measures would be initiated against the delinquent.

— Wajahat Kazmi (@KazmiWajahat)The Indian Air Force ventured into Balakot and dropped 1,000 kg bombs in the wee hours on Tuesday. Though Pakistan did dare to attack India with its military aircraft in retaliation, the endeavour was unsuccessful as the Indian jets effectively thwarted the attempt.
The Pakistan Army has claimed to have captured Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman and has even released pictures of his bloodied nose and blindfolded questioning, but the onus lies on the enemy country to protect and treat Abhinandan with dignity, in line with Geneva guidelines. The Indian MEA spokesperson confirmed that India had lost one MiG-21 Bison aircraft and its pilot was missing in action, but did not confirm the veracity of Pakistani claim.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had offered to have peace talks with India while the air combat was on on Wednesday. But sources tell MyNation that the Indian government is unwilling to accept the demand. Sources further say that this is the opportune moment to add more pressure on Pakistan. The Indian government is trying its best to project Pakistan as a country of terror on the international stage.
