Working towards passion and dreams has an entirely different satiety in it. Zoha Wani, a Srinagar based makeup artist is one such example of successful people who quit mainstream jobs to follow their dreams. Working as a manager in HDFC bank was a big deal, but Zoha never got a kick in it. She was always drawn to makeup. And trusting the gut feeling in her, she quit her job to establish Makeovers by Zoha, providing makeup service in Srinagar.
Zoha also works as a freelance makeup artist, specialising in bridal, special events, photo shoots and corporate function makeup. She also shares her expertise by providing private and group consultations and lessons. Within a short span of time, the much enthusiastic makeup artist has managed to penetrated well in the field of makeup.
Speaking about this risky decision of moving from corporate to creative, Zoha says, "Without bearing risk life would be dull and pale. It wasn't easy for me to quit HDFC and take-up makeup full fledge. But I had a belief and faith in my art. Things were tough in the beginning but it went smoothly as I started getting clients and that they loved my work. Today, I feel no regret at all. I'm proud that I decided to follow my passion."
