Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav promised that the grand alliance would offer the country up to five Prime Ministers if voted to power in the next general elections in 2024
Barely a day after the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy created a record by having as many as five deputy chief ministers, leaders of the Mahagatbandhan from across the country, have taken a cue.
Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav promised that the grand alliance would offer the country up to five Prime Ministers if voted to power in the next general elections in 2024. "Those who think we're lying low after our defeat are terribly wrong. We are already working towards our grand victory in 2024, where we will start by having 5 Prime Ministers. We've already made up a prospective list, comprising myself, Mayawati ji, NCBN ji, Mamata didi, Kumaraswamy ji. The list will be revised and maybe even expanded when more prospective Prime Ministers join the fray," Yadav told MyNation special correspondent BH Kishan Singh.

Yadav also added that there would be PMOs set up in various parts of the country, which would outnumber the number of AIIMS institutes and IITs which are being setup. Seated next to Yadav was Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who also stated that the Aam Aadmi Party would ensure a free prime ministerial berth daily, for all women in Delhi. "Every woman in Delhi can become the prime minister and join the 4 others, for a day. For free! Sab milenge ji!"
While the Congress party is yet to officially react to Yadav's conference, party supporters underplayed the move. "Big deal! The Congress party too, can offer a 3 PM - 2 Deputy PM government. Just imagine having 3 Prime Ministers in Sonia ji, Rahul ji, Priyanka ji and deputy PMs in Robert Vadra ji and Pidi ji! Ooh la la!" smiled an excited Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha, with colleague Randeep Surjewala clapping vigorously.
The BJP is yet to react to the developments. According to sources, however, Yadav received a phone call from senior BJP leader LK Advani within five minutes of concluding the conference.
