Bengaluru: All Karnataka ministers have resigned, and chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has rushed to Raj Bhavan to submit their resignation letters to the Governor, claim reports.

In a dramatic turn of events since July 6, all ministers have resigned from their post and the same will be received by the Governor. The chief minister has rushed to meet the Governor in an attempt to convince him that the coalition government will continue without any problem.

In a last-ditch effort to save the government, CM Kumaraswamy will reshuffle the Cabinet. But with news of independent MLA H Nagesh and KPJP MLA N Mahesh extending support to the BJP, coalition is one MLAs short of majority.

To stop any further resignations, the coalition government is trying to award ministries to disgruntled leaders of the respective parties.

However, the coalition government will be in trouble if the Governor asks them to prove majority.

Earlier, 12 MLAs from the coalition government had resigned from their post on July 6. MLA Anand Singh had resigned on July 1.

The decision on these resignations will be announced by Karnataka Speaker Ramesh Kumar on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, coalition leaders are trying to convince rebel MLAs to withdraw their resignations.

Deputy chief minister G Parameshwara has rushed to HAL airport and is trying to convince H Nagesh to withdraw his resignation letter. Nagesh had submitted his resignation this morning.
