Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashes in Bhutan, 2 pilots killed

Synopsis

Cheetah helicopter belonging to the Indian Army crashed into the Khentongmani hill before landing. Two pilots are feared dead.

Bhutan: Two pilots were killed after Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in Bhutan, said sources.

The pilots have been identified as Lt Col (Lieutenant colonel) rank and the other from Bhutanese Army pilot training with the Indian Army.

Reports claim that the mishap occurred  as the Indian Army chopper approached Yonphula just before landing. Instead of landing the Cheetah crashed into the nearby hill Khentongmani.
