Congress leader in Madhya Pradesh Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that he would hit the streets if loan waiver, as promised in the manifesto, is not implemented.
Bengaluru: Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia is causing more embarrassment and giving more sleepless nights to CM Kamal Nath.
Just a few months ago, he had attacked the CM for letting off those who were arrested in in relation to a spurious food trade.
Now, in a renewed attack, Scindia has warned CM that they will hit the streets if farm loan waiver, as promised in the manifesto, did not see the light of day.
"It is impossible that Congress party makes a promise and does not fulfill it. If Congress has promised something then it is very important to fulfill it...nahi to sadak par utarna padega [otherwise we'll take to the streets]" Jyotiraditya Scindia said.

Interestingly, Madhya Pradesh minister Govind Singh said his party could not waive the farmer loans due to a "difficult situation".
He further added, "Rahul Gandhi had said that after we form the government, we'll waive off farmer loans up to Rs 2 lakh in 10 days, but we could not. The opposition says that we betrayed you. I want to say that situation is difficult that's why there is a delay in waiving off loans."
For CM Kamal Nath, Scindia has surely become more of a nemesis.
Why do we make such a statement?
Well, Scindia has not minced words in criticising the CM several times.
Scindia also hit out at the CM for not regularising guest teachers.
"I want to assure you that your demand is included in our government's manifesto and it is our sacred text. It has been a year for the government, teachers have to be a little patient. Our turn will come and if not then I assure you that I will be your shield and sword," Scindia said.
"If all promises in the manifesto are not fulfilled, do not think you are alone. Scindia will also hit the streets with you," Jyotiraditya Scindia said further.
