Earthquake: 6.3 magnitude tremors felt in Delhi-NCR, parts of North India, Pakistan

Tremors were felt in India-Pakistan border. An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude was experienced in some parts of Delhi-NCR and north India. Tremors were also experienced in Pakistan.
 

New Delhi: Strong tremors were experienced in Delhi-NCR and some parts of north India around 4.30 pm, today (September 24). It is said that these regions experienced 6.1 magnitude of tremors.

The India Met Department put out a Tweet stating that there was an earthquake of 6.3 magnitude in the Pakistan-India border region at 4.31 pm, today.

"Earthquake of Magnitude:6.3, Occurred on:24-09-2019, 16:31:58 IST, Lat:32.9 N & Long: 73.7 E, Depth: 40 Km, Region: Pakistan - India (J & K ) Border region," the tweet said.

In India, some parts of Punjab and Jammu too experienced tremors.

So far there is no information on the loss of  life.
