Delhi Police arrest US citizens for flying drone near Rashtrapati Bhavan; photographs recovered

Synopsis

Delhi Police detained the two US citizens and have recovered a few photographs of the high-security Central Secretariat area captured through the video camera fitted in the drone

New Delhi: A father-son duo, both US citizens, who were flying a drone near Rashtrapati Bhavan, were detained by Delhi Police

Both father and son were taken into custody on September 14, police said. 

According to police, the video camera fitted in the drone had captured a few photographs of the high-security Central Secretariat which has been recovered.

Flying of drones is banned in the capital.

Police are questioning the duo and further investigation is on.
