The rumors were true! Telugu star Naga Chaitanya and actress Sobhita Dhulipala are officially engaged. Hours after the engagement, Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and posted the pictures of the happy newly-engaged couple. Nagarjuna welcomed Sobhita to the family and wrote, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love"

The engagement took place in a private ceremony at Nagarjuna's Hyderabad residence. Sobhita looked ethereal with her simple yet elegant saree and hair tied neatly in a bun with flowers. The groom-to-be looked dashing with his all-white kurta set. 

Sobhita Dhulipala is a talented actress who has several esteemed projects under her name including, Made in Heaven, Monkey Man, and The Night Manager. Sobhita and Chaitanya have been dating for a while now and now the couple has made it official. 

Chaitanya was first married to Samantha Rath Prabhu. The duo separated in 2021. After several months of their split, Chaitanya started dating Sobhita Dhulipala.
