Jama Masjid in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, was built by a Hindu ruler nearly a century ago. This mosque is an architectural marvel and the story behind its construction leaves everyone in awe. The construction of the mosque began under the reign of Maharaja Balwant Singh. The foundation of this mosque was laid on the same day as that of the Ganga temple. 
 

Remarkably, Bharatpur Jama Masjid took 90 years to complete. History suggests that its construction began some 180 years ago. The inauguration of the mosque took place under the reign of Maharaja Brijendra Singh. Notably, the entrance of the place resembles the grand Buland Darwaza of Fatehpur Sikri. Holy verses of the Quran are intricately carved on the entrance doors.
