Sub-Inspector Suman Kumari has earned her stripes as the first woman sniper of the Border Security Force (BSF), marking a significant milestone in the force's history. Completing an intensive eight-week sniper course at the Central School of Weapons and Tactics (CSWT) in Indore, Suman achieved the prestigious 'instructor grade' certification.

Suman's journey to becoming a sniper began with her keen observation of the threat posed by sniper attacks from across the border while commanding a platoon in Punjab.
