Gulf countries express interest in buying Brahmos supersonic missile from India

Gulf countries like Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia have expressed interest in Brahmos supersonic missile. 
 

Reports add that the talks have been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, Financial Express adds. 

It adds that the deal could be signed during the Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane’s four-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UAE. 

Earlier, it had emerged that India will be supplying the BrahMos to Philippines. 

The supersonic missile has a long range and has been made a part of the three Indian armed forces.
