India's most celebrated cricketer, 'King Kohli', has announced his retirement from the T20 international format, sending waves of shock to his fans. The decision came right after India's win against South Africa. Several fans and celebrities are sad to see Virat Kohli go, but they respect his decision to let new and younger players get the chance they deserve. 

India's cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma, is also retiring from the T20 international format. Rohit announced this in the press conference after the triumph over South Africa. 

The Indian cricket fans were shocked when all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja announced his retirement from the T20 international format following Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's announcement. The 35-year-old posted on his Instagram about his decision to retire. 

New Zealand cricketer Trent Boult has also announced his retirement from the T20 format; however, he will still play in other formats. 

David Warner is a popular Australian cricketer who has also announced his retirement. He will be retiring from all international formats and announced that this T20 World Cup 2024 was his last.
