TamilRockers, the piracy website, has threatened to leak Rajinikanth starrer 2.0. The site recently leaked Vijay's blockbuster Sarkar and Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan.

Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's upcoming Sci-Fi thriller 2.0 is one of the most awaited films of 2018, which is made on a budget close to Rs 600 crore. With that 2.0 is touted as the costliest flick ever produced in Indian cinema.

After Thugs Of Hindostan got leaked online hours after it released in theatres on November 8, the controversial torrent site TamilRockers has threatened to leak 2.0 soon. This is what it tweeted, "#2Point0 Coming Soon in Tamil Rockers. (sic)."

Though Twitter managed to suspend the said account within few hours to avoid any online leak of the mega-budget movie, the torrent site seems to be still active. This type of activity can jeopardise the film's collection if the movie gets leaked online.

Similarly, Vijay's latest Diwali release Sarkar was also hit by piracy. The torrent site via their Twitter handle had hinted that the HD print of Sarkar would be uploaded on its site a day before the film's release.

However, the anti-piracy cell actively worked on stopping the pirated copies of Vijay's movie from hitting the internet. Sadly, after all the efforts, Sarkar’s Full HD version was leaked online.

Coming back to 2.0
During the last weekend, Rajini was seen at the launch of 2.0 trailer where he spoke about the movie and was confident about its success. He said, "Take my word, this film is going to be a super-duper hit."

2.0 is directed by Shankar, who had also helmed the 2010 hit Enthiran. The film marks Akshay’s foray into the south Indian film industry. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the movie.

The movie will hit the theatres on November 29.
