Popular Tamil TV actress Priyanka allegedly committed suicide at her Valasaravakkam residence in Chennai today (18 July).
Priyanka was known for playing Jyotikha in the Tamil TV show Vamsam, which starred Ramya Krishnan in the lead.
According to Chennai police, Priyanka's maid found her body hanging from a ceiling fan this morning (18 July).
Priyanka's body has been sent for postmortem and investigation is underway. Now Chennai police are also interrogating her close friends and colleagues to get the real reason for her death.
A source close to the actress said, "The reason behind this extreme step of Priyanka could be a domestic dispute. She was married for three years now and didn't have any kids, which can be the main reason for stress in the relationship."
The actress had tied the knot with Arunbala in 2015. However, the couple has been living separately for the past two months due to alleged differences of opinion.
Priyanka was a part of TV serials like Apoorva Ragangal and Bairavi.
